Who are our Head Ministers?
Works of Mercy : Helping families in need when an illness or unfortunate event confronts the family. Families in need may be ministered to via meals delivered while someone is in the hospital or recovering from chemotherapy rides to local physician’s offices can be arranged with adequate advanced notice. Calls are made when there is a death in the family. Highlights of this ministry include participation in semi-annual Saint Vincent DePaul Drives, Community New Garment Association, spring Mass of Healing, and the Christmas Poinsettia Program.

Companions : This ministry schedules regular visits to Chatham Acres Nursing Home, Luther House, and Ruston Residence to say the rosary and bring a Catholic presence to those in local nursing homes.
Head Minister : Lorraine Holmes
Aid for Friends : This Philadelphia-based ministry provides weekly frozen meals to individuals homebound - both Catholic and not in our area. The Catholic Social Services West Grove office staff completes evaluation.

Emergency Services : This ministry provides transportation in emergency situations to therapy or other appointments.
Head Minister: Jim Haley
Respect Life: Meeting on the fourth Thursday of each month ( 7:30 P.M. ABVM sixth grade classroom) this group focuses on issues from womb to tomb. Highlights include sending parishioners and students to participate in the annual Washington, D.C. March for Life, Mother’s Day Rose Sale, and the West Grove Life Chain .

Faithful Citizenship : This ministry brings to light legislation currently up for vote that Catholics should become aware of. Pre-election voter registration is also held.

Project Rachael : This clergy-based group provides counseling in post-abortion situations to women in need. Head Minister: Msgr. John Graf
Grief Counseling : This ministry lends an ear when one or more family members are struggling with a death in the family. Highlights include the All Souls’ Day Mass of Remembrance. Head Minister: Rose Monaghan and Eileen Poland
Catholic Social Services : Our parish is blessed to include within its boundaries an office of Catholic Social Services. This branch offers counseling for a variety of situations, a food pantry, pregnancy services, Aid for Friends outreach, and many bilingual services. The local office can be found at 105 Prospect Avenue in West Grove (610-869-6500). County contacts meet quarterly to inform parishes of agency events. Parish Contact: Ann Marie Barr
Marriage Encounter : This Archdiocesan group informs the parish of retreats and other programs to strengthen marriages. Head Minister: Rose Monahan
